Privacy Policy: For Our Web Survey Participants

Market Strategies International is committed to protecting the privacy of all information we collect from research participants. This policy applies to all personal information that we collect or use in the course of conducting our business. This policy covers all research participant data housed at any Market Strategies facility or stored on Market Strategies network. Anyone at Market Strategies who has access to such information or data must follow this policy.

Research Participant Information

All responses to our web surveys are completely confidential. We collect data in our web surveys for research purposes only, and our use of that information will be limited to that purpose. Your answers will not be used by any entity as an aid for sales.

Research participation is voluntary and you always have the opportunity to decline involvement or to "opt out" of the research after agreeing to participate. We do not collect personal information without your consent. If you wish to remove yourself from the web survey’s contact list, please visit our Do Not Contact page to submit your removal request.

Children

We do not contact children under the age of 16 without consent from a parent or guardian.

Information Security

We maintain all necessary physical, electronic and procedural security measures to help safeguard personal information.

To allow for your personal information to be submitted in a secure environment, we use the same security encryption as most banks or e-commerce websites. Data transactions are secured using 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology.

Information We Collect When You Visit Our Web Surveys

In certain circumstances, we may use Cookies for tracking non-personal information such as the number of visits to a page or survey. Cookies used for this purpose are set to expire once the survey field period is complete. We do not use Cookies to collect any personal information about you.

Legal Obligations

Under certain circumstances permitted or required by law (for example, in connection with law enforcement investigations), we may be required to disclose survey data or personal information without giving notice.

Compliance

As members of the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO), we strive to model our policies according to CASRO guidelines. Our internal Privacy and Security Compliance Officer is available if you have questions about our Privacy Policy, or for processing a complaint.
